Description

Washington Square is settled within the heart of Philadelphia and has grown and evolved alongside the city of Brotherly Love. Although much like Philadelphia, Washington Square has its moments in darkness. The Square itself stands as a cemetery for a few thousand bodies, collected across several epidemics, the Revolutionary War and its stint as a potter’s field. View the Square’s website for some further information on the matter.

Now, it would seem that the spirits of some of those whose bones remain are still lingering about within the Square. Disembodied voices, strange apparitions and the frequent sighting of a diligent Quaker woman, have all become staples of the Square today. In conclusion though, welcome to the beginning of Fright Month for 2019!
